GAMAK MUSIC ACADEMYTM
‘GAMAK MUSIC ACADEMY’ was established in 2007 with a purpose to provide a platform and nurture budding talents in different forms of music as also to provide them with suitable employment opportunities. It is counted as one of the best music academies in Delhi.
‘The Academy’ is affiliated with the Prayag Sangeet Samiti in Prayagraj (Allahabad), U.P. It is also registered with the Registrar of Trademarks, Government of India under the Trade Mark Act, 1999.
‘The Academy’ imparts the best quality music training to students from its qualified professors and teachers. The Academy offers singing platforms through its classes in various musical streams like Indian Classical, Semi-Classical, Light Music, Musical Instruments (Harmonium, Kyboard/Piono, Tabla, Dholak, Drum, Guitar, etc.).
‘The Academy’ focusses on building foundations in Hindustani Classical Music, the lessons on which are imparted in the form of ‘Guru-Shishya-Parampra’. Students are trained under the observation, discipline of Guru (Teachers), during the entire musical classes. Besides, workshops are conducted by professional artists frequently on subjects like vocals buildings, voice modulation techniques, practicing methodologi9es in order to enrich students in various aspects of classical singing. Every student is under minute observation and their progress is reflected in the respective formal progress cards regularly.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS:
Students not only learn from the best faculty members in Music, but also get regular opportunities to perform in Open-Mic regularly in Delhi and at All India Radio, TV and the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Government of India. The hard working students gain certain caliber and get opportunity to record their talent in our in-house fully equipped Recording Studio in Delhi. This is where their dream to become professional singer comes true.
DIPLOMA COURSES:
‘The Academy’ also provides Diploma Courses like (i) Junior Diploma (2 years), (ii) Senior Diploma – Two Years, (iii) Prabhakar Diploma – Two Years Course equivalent to B.Ed., and (iv) Alankar Diploma – Two years Course equal to M.Ed. From Prayag Sangeet Samitti, Allahabad (U.P.) in Indian Classical Music, Semi Classical, Light Music & Indian Classical Dances.
Also, there are beginner as well as advance level courses in which the children from the age of 6 years onwards are enrolled.
DEGREE COURSES:
‘The Academy’ also provides Degree Courses like B.A., B.A.(Hons.), B.Ed., M.A., M.Ed., M.Phil from Delhi University, Kheragarh University and Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, in Indian Classical and Semi-Classical Music.
MUSIC THEORY KNOWLEDGE:
‘The Academy’ provides deep knowledge of theory in music for all the diploma courses like Junior Diploma, Senior Diploma and Prabhakar Diploma from the Prayag Sangeet Samitti, Allahabad (U.P.) and all the degree courses like B.A., B.A. (Hons.), B.Ed., M.A., M.Ed., M.Phil. from Delhi, Kheragarh and Maharishi Dayanand Universities in Indian Classical and Semi Classical Music.
MUSIC NET EXAMINATION:
We also help in preparing for the National Eligibility Test (NET) in Indian Classical Music, Semi-classical for students of M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D.
